Based on data and observations I created spreadsheets for Analysis. Some of the criterias were struggle score, date, time, etc. I set up weight scores to prioritize our efforts toward LEMI (Least Effort Maximum Impact). I was able to locate sources of dead clicks and improve designs.
While working as the Senior UX Design Lead at Microsoft. I used Microsoft's Power BI to view, analyze, and share information with other team members and the organization.
I mainly utilized SQL code to retrieve and view data, but Power BI was useful for quick results and creating dashboard reports to share with the team. I was the UX data design, UX research, and admin person for other BI tools listed below - here, I was a user with keen understanding of analytics services.
Google Administration Tool and Analytics were deployed for SEO of websites I had developed. The tool allowed me to analyze in-depth details about visitors, clarify customer base, and better service customer needs. Google Analytics provided valuable insight to businesses.
At Chase (formerly Wamu), my customers were statisticians, data scientists, and reporters - whom I supported by UX design, UX research, and administering various analytics tools. Plus, as a certified Oracle Database Administrator, I carefully listened to my customers' needs, then provided data in formats they could easily view and use.
One of the software I was in charge of was called Quadstone - an analytics app that showed graphs and charts in 3D. Quadstone was a cutting ege tool, it enabled users to slice and view data in many different ways on a whim.
I worked with statisticians, project managers, and other DBAs to gather, verify, and deploy data solutions. I conducted strategic meetings to further enhance clients' feedback.

A national financial institution such as Chase is heavily data driven. Many different tools were needed to process all of the gathered data, and make intelligent business decisions. Oracle Business Intelligence was an online portal, which allowed my clients to view, report, and share data across the organization. Taking customers' voices, I designed to improve the user experience, led strategic design meetings, trained users, and worked with backend developers to provide ongoing enhancements.
I received my Oracle DBA certification. I worked on complex data architectures and flow diagrams. Here is an example of what some of them looked like.
I oversaw many different projects at Chase. As a lead designer, researcher, and admin over analytics tools, I successfully collaborated to build a solid working relationship between the user community within Chase and business intelligence software vendors. Using SQL, UNIX shell scripts, and others tools, I compiled the data and set up automation process to improve user experiences. Complex data migration and SQL tuning were successfully performed. Accuracy and timeliness of data was most important; mission critical reports were delivered to top managers of our company on a monthly basis.
